Day 247

Today, my family and I went to Surabaya to see an iridologist, as suggested by a friend of ours.

We went there not to get diagnosed. The iridologist looked into our irises and analysed our health. From there, he gave some lessons about detoxification, raw and organic food, healthy diet and so forth. It's certainly not an easy adjustment but my family and I were eager to start this new lifestyle in the next three to six months. We'll throw away sugar, salt, MSG, processed food, oil, white rice, white potato, dairy products, and anything that isn't fresh. We will make and bring our own meals when we go out or attend party/gathering. The iridologist promoted this kind of lifestyle because he was against medicines and supplements, which we agreed. According to him, what's created by God is safer for our health than what's man-made.

The sad part? Well, it's holiday season. There will be Christmas celebrations and lots of "normal" meals. Can we resist the scrumptious meat, cakes, snacks and desserts? We'll see.

Many health practitioners, including medical doctors, state iridology is a useless tool for health. We believe there's no useless process if we do it by faith.
“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!"
