Day 163

When I became unable to rest because of boredom or anxiety, I usually did something impulsive that I would regret, sooner than later. From snacking to social media-stalking and then reminiscing old memories. Not very wise.

Paul advised, the first thing God wants believers to do is pray. Pray every way we know how, for everyone we know. Pray so we can live simply, in humble contemplation.

This may sound easy, but it actually convicted me. I've been aware of my lack of enthusiasm in praying for who and what I should be praying for. These nights, some people and a few things kept coming into my mind and they kept me awake. I knew I needed to intercede on their behalf, ask God to help them, and give thanks for them.

I should probably shut down my computer and do it now.
