Sometimes I'm amazed at the dazzling beauty of this world by looking at the photos people shared on the Internet. Although most of them are edited using filters on VSCO or Photoshop, I know they can't compare to the actual sceneries. Today I made an illustration of one of the picturesque images by Scott Bakken:

As I painted, this verse came to mind:

"We don't yet see things clearly.
We're squinting in a fog, peering through a mist.
But it won't be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright!
We'll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us,
knowing Him directly just as He knows us!"
