Day 139

It's getting more popular to share quotations on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Path, Twitter, etc) these-days.

Quotes are literally posted everywhere. Some are in the form of lettering/typography, some are in the form of graphic design/photography, some are memes. People are becoming more creative in being 'humorous' and looking 'wise' on the Internet.

Deep quotes, witty quotes, motivational quotes, sentimental quotes — whether we're posting it to encourage one another, to be satirical, or to simply send a 'hidden message/code/sign' to a certain someone, quote can be a powerful thing to make us more aware of something we may have overlooked.

Unfortunately, a plethora of inspiring quotes can lessen the value of their meaning and impact.

This week, how about choosing just one (or two) profound quote that will actually change your life for the better? Ponder and meditate on it day and night. Make sure you practice what it says. And, for the time being, ignore other quotes —no matter how tempting it is to 'like' or 'share' or 're-path' them.

Just one, and see if it's making a difference in our week.

Happy long labour day weekend!
